Profile: Tyecia Powell, Instructional Coach

Tyecia Powell is an instructional coach, which means she teaches other teachers about best practices for students. She also walks around the school to see if there is a fight that she can break up. She is not a coach of the basketball team, but she used to coach basketball, softball and track. She played college basketball at UMBC. When she is not at work, she works out and she reads and listens to poetry. Her PAC (Preferred Activity Class) is about CPR.
